Who is Dr.Omar ALdalati
Dr Omar Aldalati is a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in minimally invasive (“keyhole”) treatments for heart and valve disease. With over four years at consultant level, he helps patients avoid open-heart surgery, enabling faster recovery, less discomfort, and an earlier return to daily life.
He has performed more than 1,500 PCI procedures (coronary stents) and over 500 TAVI procedures (aortic valve replacement). He is also a key member of the specialised mitral valve intervention team in Wales. Dr Aldalati was instrumental in designing and establishing the benchmark TAVI programme in Cardiff and served as the Welsh representative on the BCIS Junior Committee. He is also Co-Director of Medical Notes Solutions, focusing on improving medical record-keeping through modern IT systems.
